Candied Jalapenos

2-1/2 Cups thin sliced jalapeños

1 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup Water
Directions

Slice jalapeños into thin rounds, remove seeds if you want Less heat
-
Add water and sugar into a small saucepan, bring up almost to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.

Lower heat to a simmer and Add jalapeños and continue to cook until you achieve a syrupy consistency.

Allow jalapeño mixture to cool then add to clean/sterilized glass jars and refrigerate
-
If you would like a prettier presentation, line a sheet tray w aluminum foil and remove your jalapeño slices one at a time and place them to cool on the foil.
